The ability of levitation can be a useful ability indeed. Whether used to avoid danger, enable effortless movement, or just to impress onlookers, using magic to give one limited capability of flight is a fundamental spell that any Black Mage should have in their repertoire.

Syntax: cast 'fly' <character>

This spell enables the target character to fly.

IC, This spell allows you to hover slightly above the ground, or fall slower than normal. It does not allow a player to take off from the ground, or glide through the air.
