Alexandria

Alexandria, the Holy Citadel, is a city that has been rebuilt throughout time on the same foundations. Suffering great tragedy and earning great renown over the years, it began to grow isolated from the rest of the world shortly before the Giant of Ba'bil was raised. The silver walls hide a quaint, closely-built city on the edge of a freshwater lake. And standing on an island in the middle of the lake is Alexandria Castle itself, reachable only by barge from the city. The nation is ruled by a benevolent, if reclusive queen, and tends toward self- preservation and isolation rather than the dominant tactics of other kingdoms. While Alexandria may be a peaceful place after its tumultuous past, that does not mean that its warrior casts - the Knights of Pluto for men and Roses of May for women - aren't some of the finest in Ivalice. Alexandria is located on the northeastern continent but is only reachable by boat due to the nearby terrain.

Alexandria must be reached by boarding the Sea Sprite or Siren's Call.
