Al Bhed

There is a race in Ivalice that strives for technological advances. They're no other than the race of once desert-dwelling Al Bhed. These human resembling beings dedicate their whole lives to rebuilding, restoring, and improving machina. Their machina have those they dug up from the past, and those they have created for themselves. They range from muscular to skinny, just as the human race. Some even make better thieves than their other machina using comrades, though they can excel at many professions. All Al Bhed, except those of mixed blood, have blonde hair, and green eyes. The green eyes of an Al Bhed differ from those of other races. Upon closer inspection, around the pupil, there is a intricate spiral that swirls from the pupil to the outer edges of the iris. Their usual attire is loose fitting clothing, usually a bright yellow, with the exception of their black, dark blue and red uniforms. Many also wear goggles. Many Al Bhed also favor tattoos, and they have their own, elegant language. Al Bhed Translator
